These terms cover Window, at window.zentiahome.com and on Telegram as @WindowSingaporeBot, operated by Zentia Home Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore. By using Window you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
What Window is, and isn't
Window turns public weather and air-quality data into plain advice: when a storm is closing in, when rain is likely, when haze makes it worth shutting the windows. It is free.
Window is not an official warning service. Forecasts and alerts can be late, wrong or missing, for example when a data source is down. Don't rely on Window alone when safety is at stake. For official warnings follow the National Environment Agency, PUB and the Singapore Civil Defence Force. When lightning is near, go indoors whatever any app says.
Using Window
- Use it for your own information, and not in a way that harms the service or others.
- Don't scrape it, overload it, or call its data interface automatically at high volume. If you'd like to build on Window, write to us.
- Don't present Window's content as an official warning, or as coming from NEA, PUB or another agency.
Data from others
Window uses data from NEA and PUB (through data.gov.sg), MET Norway and others, under their licences: see data credits. Those organisations don't endorse Window.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause or end Window or any part of it, and update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Window after a change means you accept it.
Liability
Window is provided “as is”, without warranties of accuracy, availability or fitness for a purpose. To the extent the law allows, Zentia Home is not liable for loss or damage from using or relying on Window, including decisions made because of a forecast or alert, or an alert that didn't arrive. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Singapore law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and its courts have jurisdiction.
